Dear Parents and carers:
Collecting after school:
Just to clarify - if you are collecting from 3.15: please go to classroom door to let tchr know you’re collecting your child then step back to wait socially distanced and leave as soon as you can.
From 3.30 pm bell: For P—2 it’s ok on-site after school. Please arrange a safe distance to meet your child in grounds and leave ASAP. If you have siblings in 3-6 it’s ok to meet altogether. But if you can meet off site please do so.
If you are collecting early please come to office for an early leavers pass.
I hope this clearer for everyone.
Regards Julie

Dear Parents and Carers,
In this week's newsletter I have outlined details of how students will commence on-site teaching as of next week. The article below is a copy:
We are all very thrilled that all the children, prep to year 6 will all be back on site at Overport next Monday, 12th October. We are fortunate to have such large grounds, which means we do not have to stagger starts across the levels. So all students will commence on Monday. Student must not arrive before 8.45 am unless they are attending OHSC (Extend). They may go straight into classrooms between 8.45 am and 9.15 am. Collection at the end of the day can be from the classroom from 3.15 pm onwards. Students remaining will be dismissed at 3.30 as usual. To ensure this continues to work safely and effectively for everyone, parents of year 3 to 6 must not come into the grounds, but say their goodbyes outside the school grounds. Parents of students Prep to yr 2, may come in to walk them to the classroom door area. Face Masks: All adults must all wear face masks, ensure social distancing and leave the grounds immediately. Primary school students are not required to wear face masks; however, this is parent choice. Teachers are not required to wear face masks during direct teaching. It is vital that we all continue to follow these simple steps to keep everyone safe. At this stage, while community transmissions are low, we are not required to undertake daily temperature checking. Students will hand sanitize every time they come inside. All high touch areas will be disinfected daily. If your child is unwell, do not send them to school but seek medical advice. Students who present with cold-like symptoms will be sent home and must be collected as a soon as possible. Please note unfortunately, we are NOT able to undertake photos this year and camps and concerts are also cancelled.
We respectfully request that our community follows these guidelines to ensure everyone continues to be safe.
Kind Regards,
