Overport continues to be a strong leader in ICT. We embrace all new initiatives to direct and support the children’s learning. The children are exposed to a wide range of multimedia developments with access to interactive whiteboards, computers, iPads, laptops and netbooks as well as a computer lab. Our grade 5 and 6 students have access to a multimedia TV and digital weather station.
Our children confidently use a broad range of programs, digital literacy and learn about cybersafety from their prep year. They use educational software and sites such as Microsoft Office, Mathletics, Reading Eggs, manipulative programs, iPad apps, typing programs and Claymation as well as the ability to share their work across classrooms through digital photography and movie making.
