20.08.2021 Urgent Update

20/8/2021

20/08/2021
Urgent: For the School to Provide On-site Supervision.
Eligibility, Requirements and Steps.
Dear Parents and Carers,
We have been doing this process for some time now.  Therefore, I respectfully request that you assist by following these steps to ensure that we have a full understanding of students that meet the eligibility and require on-site support.
For acceptance on-site attendance and supervision:
1.I must have your new ‘Permit for Work’ or a letter from your employer outlining your days required to work outside of your home, today as soon as possible.
2.The two categories remain the same and these are either essential workers or for vulnerable children. We cannot accept students on-site for any other reason or if they are not registered.  Children whose parent/s are working from home are not eligible.
3.You must have investigated all other options for care.
4.You must use the QR code or link to register your child by close of business today.

https://forms.gle/7TJXwCXBm3f7HmQXA
Please note: Adding your child/ren to the register
must be done every week by the Friday 4.00 pm.
  1. If your child/ren are registered for on-site supervision and arriving late or not attending, it is critical that you contact the office to advise us.  You may leave a message on the absence line or email me.
  2. You will be notified that your child is registered once they are added to the school roll.
Following these steps will allow us to effectively manage the number of staff required, ensure contact tracing and ensure that we have full clarity of which students will be on-site.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Regards,
Julie Gleeson.

18.08.2021 IMportant Update

18/8/2021

Dear Parents and Carers,
We now have on-site a significant number of students and Victoria's health experts consider this to be high risk due to the amount of movement it creates.
Unfortunately, we have this extended lockdown because of community transmission. Concerningly, it is happening within some schools and early childhood settings.
Whilst I understand that some children are vulnerable and that a number have parents are essential workers, the safest place for your child/ren is still at home.
The fewer people we have in our schools and therefore moving about, the faster we will get out of this.
Therefore, we have had to make some very firm changes to on-site attendance.  Please read the attached information.
Parents who are essential workers MUST provide me with their new permit for their essential work as of 23rd August, should they require on-site supervision.
Kind Regards,
Julie Gleeson

Important Update 16.08.2021

16/8/2021

Dear Parents and cares,
Please see attached information which outlines requirements for on-stie support should the current lockdown be extended.
Please note on-site students will not undertake their Google Meets between Monday and Thursday as the teachers here will be explicitly teaching these lessons.    They will; however, engage in the Friday wellbeing meet.
It is vital that you use the link to request on-site support.  This must be done by Friday EVERY WEEK.

Updaye To Accommodate Further Lockdown 16.08.2021

Update: 11.08.2021

11/8/2021

Dear Parents and Carers,
Please see the important attached information regarding changes to the arrangements for on-site support.
Read this carefully, thank you, as within the information is a clear outline of which students are eligible for on-site support.
COVID restrictions indicate that students who are not registered cannot just arrive and then attend. Therefore, ensure you adhere to the deadlines for this request.
Thank you for your continued support.
Kind Regards,

Update: 09.08.2021

9/8/2021

Dear Parents and Carers,
Curriculum Day.
This Friday is still a Student Free Curriculum Day. Staff will be undertaking professional development on our writing program remotely. Extend will be offering OHSC on-site if your need care for your child/ren.
On-site Support During Lockdowns
We are all hoping that the students will all be back to school next week.
However, should the lockdown continue, and you require on-site support because you are an authorised worker or your child is in the vulnerable category, please see the QR code attached or follow the link below to request on-site support. PLEASE NOTE:The old form is no longer to be used. You must use this format.
https://forms.gle/7TJXwCXBm3f7HmQXA
If your child’s teacher happens to be supporting students on-site, while they will make every effort, they may not give feedback on as many pieces of work on that day. However, we have ensured sufficient staff are on-site to enable them to continue to undertake their scheduled Google Meets.
Thank you for your continue support of your child/ren at home as we manage this current landscape together.
Kind Regards,
Julie Gleeson
